Teen Angler Sets Trout Records on Canadian River
A 16-year-old angler from Alberta, Canada, caught two all-tackle length world records for bull trout within a single week in 2025. The catches were officially recognized by the International Game Fish Association. The record-breaking trout were landed on the Bow River near Banff, measuring 70 cm in length. The angler attributes his success to discipline and understanding the migratory patterns of the bull trout.
